The Brewers won their seventh straight and third in a row over the Cardinals with a 3-0 victory Wednesday night at Busch Stadium. C.C. Sabathia fired a complete-game, three-hitter. He struck out seven and needed just 106 pitches to go the distance. Ryan Braun and J.J. Hardy both homered. The Brewers lead the Cardinals by two games for the wildcard and trail the Cubs by one game in the NL Central.
